Mesut Ozil is a famous German soccer player 3rd generation immigrant from Turkey and apparently speaks very poor German.
Let's not be naive about it. The current western and northern Europeans are a complacent, toothless group, so I doubt they do enough to make the hard choices.

He also isn't a poor migrant living off of government assistance and the rest of the countries taxes. He is actually stimulating their economy with his work. He also isn't grouping up in a poor Muslim community destroying the christian culture of Europe. Don't pretend Mesut Ozil is even close to what these migrants are.

He also speaks very poor Spanish, Turkish, and English. Languages aren't his thing. Podolski also spoke poor German. There are other 2nd and 3rd generation soccer players who speak fine German.
