But, seriously, I don't know if I want dumb people being scientists or engineers. Maybe I'm being too critical.

Struggling with a tough professor or academic situation does not make you dumb. And for the record even the Science program at Tech are leagues harder than the liberal arts even at a school like LSU. (I have a classmate who went their for undergrad)
