Agree with this. They want to get rid of the word retarded, but all that does is turn "Special Olympics" or "Shortbus" or Special Needs" into cutdowns. It would be better to keep retard around AS a cutdown kinda like mods here made the Rant to contain Bama fans.
I mean at the end of the day teenage boys will ALWAYS want to call each other less viable human beings. You will never make being retarded a "good" thing. At best you can separate the the childish cutdowns from those who are actually impaired. Kinda like what happened to the word that means a bundle of sticks.
