Most games back then were very hard due to no unlimited lives and very unforgiving health/time. Kids may play some tougher games today, but they definitely benefit from how often they can save and die. Zelda was just par for the course what we were use to back then. I definitely had a better accomplished feeling back then than I do for beating a new game today. Beating games back then without game genie or konami code was fricking hard.
