And now you are pissed at alabama because they figured out a way to take advantage of the new rule better than Lsu did?
would you be in favor of LSU "taking advantage" of the new rule? Or should we just get f'ed and lose out on recruits due to not paying them as much as Alabama and Auburn do. You really think that how much a school pays recruits is not going to be a factor in their decision if a recruit is on the fence as to which school to go to? Also if the SEC offices weren't in Birmingham but were instead in BR don't you think that maybe LSU would have gone with the highest amount and Alabama may have been a bit more leary of claiming to have the highest out of pocket expenses for athletes in the country.

quote:Since there is no "rule violation", all this is pre-approved for lack of a better term, I say LSU should take full advantage of it. For example, if there's a kid from India add his travel to and from Pune to the "total cost of attendance" and roll with it. Those meals LSU provides that Refield mentioned, add the cost of the food, the servers, the chef(s), even the napkins and table cloth to it. Instead of it reducing the cost to the athlete, on papers show it as an increase.

Go for it.

I don't really care, but clearly you do.
So with that being said, instead of worrying about the sec office, or alabama, or auburn, or Mississippi st, why don't you focus all this ignorant and misguided energy you have towards the Lsu financial aid office as others have tried to explain to you.

And there it is again. You don't want everyone to see you're a fricking moron? Then quit showing everyone that you're a fricking moron.
