Guys, this is all music to my ears...now we have the OL set up I wanted to develop...Cory T. is in game form....Guice is the real deal...both QBs are doing pretty well...
We are going to run the ball down some folks throat...
mark my words!

If so, not sure why you're getting buried in DVs for your comment.

Anyone negative on LSU at this point is a miserable loser!

I think we will get a small idea what we have against Mcnesse. If the Dline comes out and gets pressure sacks, and TFLs, and if they can hit their short throws and check downs. I would think we will be improved . We all know what the running gameand the secondary is going to do

That is the reason I don't go to games for SEC play anymore. I am surrounded by idiots that start spouting off shite after one God damn play
True. Ive never seen any other sport where the fans know so little about the sport. The majority of football fans dont know dick

you're pretty much guaranteed at any college football game to hear the following 3 statements non-stop throughout the game...
1. Throw it to the damned tight end
2. Blitz dammit, blitz
3. I knew we were going to run that play

My prediction for the season: our OL with Tauhema at LG along with Dillon Gordon at TE will make an SEC opponent DL quit late in a game. I could see this happening to USCe, Arky, Florida or Ags for sure.

I'm intrigued by Pocic at center and Big T at LG. I'm wondering if Clapp was nicked or if Big T is just so good as a true freshman that they have to find a way to get him on the field to have the best 5 out there. Or maybe they think sliding Pocic over to center if Clapp goes down is better than Dodd coming in. Or they could have just been experimenting. Who knows. Hard to infer much from the info we're given.
But to our retarded fans--when you play against each your own team, somebody has to win and somebody has to lose each matchup. You can choose to see glass have full(positiger) or half empty (negatiger, though most of these are glass--and brain--full empty). For example: When I see that Cory Thompson picked Brandon Harris, I am hopefully that Thompson is making strides and is getting better after a lost season due to injury and after he just became the 3rd safety this week due to Mills 'injury.
Also, it's not the worst thing
in the world for Harris to throw a pick. He will throw them in games. He needs to learn how to shake them off and pick himself up. Practice is a better place than Starkville.

Clapp is starting other guard...boutte running 2nd team right now

You may be optimistic, you may be leading a great life. But you are incapable of rational thought if you take anything in that post as terrible.
We have the same OC, guess what, we will see a similar attack. This isn't a great mystery with anyone that understands even a little about Cam and his philosophy

People hate facing reality. If his post is accurate, then reality is yes, it's the same ol BS

I really don't know what your getting at. LSU has always had the sane philosophy regardless of hc. run the ball, play solid defense. I hope that never changes.

That's surprising.

Yes
Is this just a little preseason experimenting at different positions in case of injury or trying to get the best 5 on the field? If they just think Big T is better than Boutte--and that's kinda hard to believe right now as we've heard nothing but how dominant Boutte has been at run blocking. But still, why not keep Clapp at center and Pocic at LG, and just sub Big T for Boutte at RT?
Posted on 8/22/15 at 10:36 pm to Hot Carl
Probably so..just telling yall who ran with the 1s today. We all know how the staff likes all lineman to know every position. The great news is that injured guys can be filled in for with out skipping a beat

I find it in stark contrast from the reports last week of an explosive offense.
So either the post is wrong, or that's just what they were working on today.

I actually like Pocic at G because of his ability to pull although I'm sure he knows the OL calls better than Clapp at this point.
Les said 2 or 3 days ago that he still doesn't know the best 5 OLs on the team. Having said that, Les never tells the truth to the media. Yes we are all starved for info, but with closed practices and scrimmages, we really will not know until the starters are announced with McNeese and that will be subject to change as well.

I love our line--the experience, leadership, versatility, and depth. I think it may be right there with the DBs as the best unit on the team. If Harris can move the chains on 3rd down and not turn the ball over too much, with our RBs, we may rush for close to 300 yards most games.
