Those are actually Toro manufactured mowers you are seeing on the courses. Not ones made by a secondary manufacture and rebadged with the Toro name like that are sold at box stores. There is a difference. Go to Home Depot and look at a John Deere mower. Then go to Sunshine equipment or any true JD dealer and look at the same comparable model. There are many differences from the frame, mower deck, pulley systems, to the drive line.
