Miss Nellie was badly burned when a drunk potential patron was turned away then came back pissed off and set the place on fire.
She passed away shortly thereafter and I don't think it ever reopened, supposedly once her "black book" disappeared.
At least that's what I was told.

What happened Bullfrog. Was a guy had been kicked out by Nellie. He came back, and Nellie, and him got in a fight after he pored gas all over the front porch. The guy light the porch on fire, and they both burned...

One of her offspring ran it for a little while after, but it did not have the same appeal as when Nellie ran it. So, the heir shut it down...
