By the time this universe dies and the Earth is destroyed, none of us will be here

Pat Singleton can't even tell us if it's raining tomorrow and we are supposed to believe these sons of bitches?

I'd be more reliant on Les Miles' ability to select and develop a QB than these guys' ability to understand the universe.

And, that, my friends, is saying a lot.

The first certainty we have of the earth dying is when our sun begins to weaken and actually expands outward, eventually consuming the earth and burning it up.

Does anyone remember the timeline for that to take place? It's in the billions of years, but I want to say it was around 8 billion(?) I'm a pretty optimistic guy but I think it's doubtful I'll be around when that happens.

I'm putting my money on nuclear Armageddon. If we somehow become civilized (highly doubtful) then an asteroid will get us before the sun does.
