Your whole post is simply not true. Up until around 2005, Hammond was a very strong program that consistently made the playoffs and put many players in college. That parish's school board is very corrupt and has been ruining athletic programs as well as academic programs all over that parish in the public schools

What athletic programs has the school board ruined? The school doesn't run the athletic programs each individual school runs their own programs. The only thing Hammond has had going for it in the last 20 year period was the period that Carmon Moore was coaching. He was able to get through to the thug element at Hammond and keep them focused. His teams were disciplined and were good. But if you want to talk about corruption? What happened to the 10,000 plus dollars of jamboree gate money that went missing while in the possession of Carmon Moore that was supposedly locked in his truck?
