Regarding sprays, recognize what distances are sprayable. Ak and m4 are very controllable for the first ten rounds at medium distances. Long distances focus on 3 round bursts. When trying to learn patterns just go on an empty server and spray at reasonable distances while trying to keep everything at head height. Nothing from cloud nine made a good recommendation the other day that pros don't try to transfer their sprays from target to target. Spray the first guy and target the next enemy and repeat.
Cheaper rifles have less recoil but more variation in the pattern. Aug and sg have the most recoil but most inherent accuracy and least variation. Galil and famas are easier for new players to learn recoil control.
