and its facetious but still consequential tone.
Kyle MacLachlan's role as Special Agent Dale Cooper is particularly enjoyable because while keen to provide quirk and humor, such as the later Monk or House or seemingly hundreds of others, it's a bit more credible than those.
I'v got ten thumbs, and all are up for Twin Peaks on Amazon Prime.

It's a good show. I still haven't gotten passed midway through season 2. I lost steam, and I'm not sure I will ever go back.

After the reveal about midway it got very hard to finish. I powered through it and I ended up just enjoying the 90s cheese and music.

I haven't yet reached the reveal, but it's been spoiled for me by an unfortunate Jeopardy question and answer a couple of days ago.

The reveal comes in Ep. 7 of Season 2, IMO its one the best TV episodes ever made.

watched 2 episodes.....couldn't do it. it's probably because I grew up jerking off to Showgirls, aND I now associate McLachlan with that sex scene in the pool.
Oh, and it seemed like real cheeseball shite.

It's really stylized. Once you settle in, it's a damn fine cup of coffee. I associate Kyle McLachlan pretty much entirely with Dune. He'll always be Paul Atreides to me.

That was a nice, level-headed response. I'll try it again.
