West Campus and even East Campus aren't really very nice. Maybe 15 years ago. But imagine 15 years of Giant football and basketball players living in them, add on all the baseball ragers. Most athletes I used to know lived elsewhere and wanted nothing to do with west campus.

My brother cuts Ben Simmons hair and some of the other athletes Ben told me he and some others are going to be living at the standard the new place near the west campus apartments

Ummm...
Forty-nine percent of all LSU athletes live in either East or West Campus apartments. More than anywhere else, on or off campus. All I wanted to know was where the other 51% lived, and it appears that currently, there are many answers to that.
In any case, this question is moot. NCAA bylaws regarding athletic dorms are expected to change soon. And as a result LSU, along with most other power five schools, expect to construct true athletic dorms.
Hopefully, this will allow schools to better supervise and monitor their athletes.
