Less and less kids are playing. Once the talent level drops (could be a decade or more away) the quality will go down. Slowly leading to a drop in ratings.

This. But probably a bit longer. NFL will be fine for awhile. The game is certainly less interesting than it was 15 years ago, but Fantasy Football and gambling have given it a big wave to ride.
