Anything to create a little deception is good, and if used right, will certainly help create even more space for the RB's behind that veteran OL.

What I'm a little apprehensive of is our overdoing it with designed plays where the qb keeps the ball.

JJ was a good running quarterback. Both AJ and BH are. Obviously, Mett was not. However, I got frustrated at JJ--and frustrated at the present two--when they prematurely tuck and run. A significant part of our offensive problems involve having playmakers all over the field, but they are empty-handed while the ball is in the hands of the quarterback who is running.

Having a good running quarterback is an asset for a busted play. However, when that good-running quarterback 1) prematurely tucks and runs and 2) the coaches call too many designed plays for that quarterback to run while we have blue-chip playmakers at RB and WR, then that plays a huge part in bogging an offense down.

I hope the Read opens things up for our RB's. I also hope it doesn't lead to the quarterbacks running keepers play after play and leaving Fournette and the WR's empty-handed
The postt doesn't make a lot of sense other than a QB draw. There's a reason they call it read, and it also has nothing to do with "tuck n run". The former deals with emol and the latter a pass play.

You're basically saying you don't want QB to make bad reads. How profound.
