To be fair, we didn't see what started the argument and caused the guy to start filming in the first place. Maybe the life guard did cat call her or something douchey like that.
With that said, the bystander did come in and help so maybe he did feel the trio was at fault (or just hates 2 vs 1 fights)

Yeah, that was trashy. If the pier weren't so wet and the lifeguard didn't keep slipping the other guy might have been knocked out too.
