Going from high school ball to college ball and not getting all of the reps will slow down the development at least he did get to play some..
friend from the team said he knows the playbook well now.
big strides were made over the spring. I do expect him to take over the reins sometime this year! Playbook and terminology was difficult for him because he played in shotgun in high school.
I did hear he was not as good in his footwork this lead to be off on his reads. He just was not completely ready.
Should see his natural talent show this year.
