It may not take much time, but is is a mess and then you still have to dispose of the oil. That is the real hassle. I'd bet a bunch of the "change your own oil" folks just dump that shite in their yard though.

We take it back to any of the thousands of places that take the stuff. Generally the same place we buy the oil in the first place.

I pour the used oil in the jug the new oil came out of and drop it off at the auto parts store.
