I'm assuming you need speakers included so maybe something like this would get you up and running. If you wanted to save a bit more this would be better because it would allow you the option to upgrade your cartridge later on. Marco from the other thread is who you really need to chime in.

Is 350 the minimum I'm looking at shelling out? That's doable but it'll put a dent in my checking account. Im a student and I work at Lowe's so I'm not exactly rolling in cash at the moment . The MB is dead right now so I'll probably bump this tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm going to echo this:

AT LP60 with speakers

Good call Folker - this is about your floor for anything remotely decent, self-contained vinyl playback rig.

However, I encourage you to consider that the turntable is only about 1/3 of the experience. Quality amplification and speakers - which will cost you, roughly $1000 as floor, just for them, are required to get the full benefits from vinyl in the first place.

The speakers with the above set up will quickly be relegated to Craig's List or Goodwill after you upgrade your backbone.
