Not saying you're wrong, but this guy is writing an article about what Helfrich said someone else told him.
That's at least 3rd hand information, most likely 4th or 5th hand.

Yeah, probably right that it was garbled 4th hand info on the podium at pac 12 media days.

Helfrich didn't name his source or even what insight they have into the testing done by the NCAA.
I googled and haven't seen anyone else pick this up yet. That was my only point.
No need to get snarky and defensive.

The issue is this is an tOSU policy not an NCAA one.
Took me a couple of tries.

I still don't see anyone else picking up this story.
Do you have any more information?

Dude you are always here in the beginning of the season talking shite. Then can never find ya at the end of the season..

All the Oregon fans were here talking shite right up until the end last year. Hopefully they go away sooner this year. Some aren't too bad, most are.

You got the wrong poster. Besides, Oregon has put together some great seasons, so I wouldn't of disappeared if my point was to talk shite.
There needs to be reform.
That's all.

Disclaimer: Oregon loses to tOSU big with Carrington for those that see excuses from Oregon fans when they aren't there.
Nah. Oregon had plenty of red zone possessions to be right there in this game, it came down to a battle of converting red zone possessions into 7 pts. This game was going to play out like any other Oregon game. Overcome run defense issues by holding teams to 3 instead of 7 in the red zone. Convert red zone possessions for 7 on offense. Alas, Ohio State converted 7 every time, and forced a turnover on downs on the 1 or 2 yard line and held Oregon to FGs multiple times. Had Oregon beaten Ohio State in red zone conversion, it would have gone down to the wire. Carrington or any of the other 4 injured WRs/starting TE would have helped there.
Carrington was one of the Ducks' best WRs in creating separation by juking out the DB and being able to go up and make the grab on jump balls, which would have been invaluable in the redzone. Oregon was down four of their top five receiving weapons in the national title game (Bralon Addison, Pharoah Brown, Devon Allen, and Darren Carrington), and the one guy that wasn't gone (Byron Marshall) is a running back.
Ohio State had championship depth to overcome injuries. Oregon didn't have enough depth at the WR spot, and wasn't deserving of the title.
eta - Sure some of Ohio State's turnovers were self inflicted. So were those two big 3rd down drops that Oregon had early in the game when they had all the momentum and were out gaining Ohio State something like 110 to 16 yards.

We made it to the national championship game, won a Rose Bowl, and finished no.2 in the polls. Oregon has finished #3, #4, #2, #9, #2 in the last five years. We've been there at the end of the season every year except 2013 for the last five years

Anyway to get back to the topic at hand, this is absolutely true.

"If one team is tested in the College Football Playoff, everybody should be tested in the College Football Playoff," he said, adding that the differences between school- and NCAA-run tests should be made the same.

Can you link a source or even another media outlet that picked up this story about the drug tests?
Thanks.
Thanks.

My only other team is the Portland Trail Blazers . The happiness I get from this team is far better than that.
Plus I never even imagined this level of success growing up as a Duck fan, so while Oregon hasn't gotten to the top of the mountain yet, winning Rose Bowls and no.2 finishes are a hell of a lot more entertaining and better than Holiday and Sun Bowls year in and year out.
eta - The championship game losses do hurt badly, but irrelevancy is the worst.

Hopefully we're the John Elway of cfb and not the Jim Kelly of cfb.
What gives me hope is size we are getting in the trenches.
