Do teachers seduce children in school? I mean where does it stop? Everyone wants their kid to be in a bubble but you have to let them live to extent or they won't experience life.

So one has to surf the internet in their room alone at 14 years old to experience life? Got it.

I agree. You can't protect them 100% of the time no matter how bad you want to. All you can do is raise and educate them the best you can and hope you did a good enough job that they make the right choices.

So let me get this straight. You are arguing that you should let your kids....experience LIFE....through the internet...when they should be sleeping?

They can experience life outside during the day time. I'm not trying to keep my son in a bubble, but there is a lot out there that he doesn't need to be exposed to as a child. I realize kids hear all kinds of things from kids at school, but that doesn't mean I need to just let them do whatever the hell they want.

not letting your kids keep an obvious distraction in their rooms at night = not allowing them to experience life

the fact that you equate being online on the computer as 'experiencing life' tells us all we need to know.
