I was looking at where the car ended up and the fact that, for whatever reason, the cop, at some point, ended up on the ground.

I agree that he was stopped on the right side of the road, but as you saw, the car ended up down the block, on the left side of the road.

You and I both know that a true accident reconstruction (not some numbnuts with a measuring wheel) would be necessary to determine speed, angle, and force.

I believe that intelligent people can have a reasonable conversation, yet have differing opinions, even on a message board.

Of course, I also believe in Santa Claus, so there's that.

Which was a fair distance down the road. He went maybe 10-15 degrees to the left from where his car was originally. For him to strike the officer he. Would need to turn at more than 45 degrees to hit him.
