re: What happened to Jordan Jefferson over the course of his career

quote:Jefferson also had 12 rushing touchdowns and over 1,000 yards rushing.
Jefferson had two more career passing TDs than Lee in double the games played. Jefferson was an offensive machine all right.
Rushing yards and touchdowns count just as much as passing yards and touchdowns. You knew that, right?
Why throw it in when you can run it in.
In 2009, Jefferson had the second highest red zone efficiency in the nation.

Sal, what was JJ's regular season completion percentage in 2011?
Posted on 7/29/15 at 4:14 pm to lsufball19
quote:Yes. yes, it is.quote:no it's not
Lee was not a better pass than Jefferson. That's an opinion supported by the facts.
Jefferson had a better career completion percentage than Lee.
Jefferson had a better SEC completion percentage than Lee.
Jefferson had a better 2011 regular season completion percentage than Lee.
Jefferson had a better career efficiency rating than Lee.
Jefferson had a better SEC efficiency rating than Lee.
Jefferson had a better 2011 regular season efficiency rating than Lee.
quote:That's terrific. Lee had 170 net yards. Jefferson had only 130 net yards.
Lee was responsible for 185 of the 215 passing yards l;su had. jefferson had an 83 yard run right up the middle the first series of the game. he accounted for 47 total yards the rest of the game. That's a fact
Jefferson had 2 INTs, and Lee had only 1 INT.
Jefferson had 1 TD, and Lee had 0 TDs.
I hesitate to mention it, but Jefferson had a 50% higher QBR than Lee for that game. (I know, I know, it's just the QBR.)

Sal, what was JJ's regular season completion percentage in 2011?
Posted on 7/29/15 at 4:21 pm to CptBengal
quote::sigh:quote:so here he has a 64.3% regular season comp %
Jefferson (2011 Regular Season)
64.3%, 9.34 YPA, 5 TDs, 1 INT, INT% 1.43%, Overall Rating 163.48
Then in your graph JJ has a 66% regular season comp % for 2011.quote:Why are you a liar?
That means the statistics come from SEC Regular Season Games.
both are from the regular season and JJ in 2011 had a lower comp % than Lee.
it was worse.
I'll explain it to you like I would explain it to a second grader.
quote:Do you see where it says "2011 Regular Season"? It's in the parentheses. Do you see it now? That means the statistics come from the 2011 Regular Season. It includes ALL of the 2011 Regular Season games. ALL OF THE REGULAR SEASON GAMES, NOT JUST SEC GAMES.

SEC Regular Season Games
Do you understand now?
Do you still feel compelled to call me a lair?

Jefferson completed every pass he attempted against Ole Miss.
How can he get more passing yards than completing EVERY pass? He does not call the plays.
So did Jarrett Lee

You left out the SEC Regular Season Games. It's underneath the "QB Rating - Mettenberger" in every single one of my posts in which I posted those graphs.
Could you be any more full of shite?!?!

Two different styles of quarterback. Lee was obviously a pocketpasser while Jefferson was utilized in option schemes often. Most of the discussion has been about completion %, etc. Way to use rushing stats to try to support your weak position.

ok,ok....we get it....you love you some JJ...you are always in every thread defending him. How are y'all related again?
Stating facts about JJ'S career IS NOT defending him. It's called reality.

And Jarrett Lees stats were all better. JL also had 67 more pass attempts but 10 less sacks and only 1 more INT. Also had 8 more TDs than JJ. Just admit it dude, he wasn't even as good as J Lee
I have repeatedly said JLEE shouldve remained the starter in 2011. I believed he had earned that right
There is no measurable statistic that prove JLEE was better.
JJ has a
1. Higher career compl %
2. Higher career yards per attempt (which dispels the notion that his compl % is good because he threw short passes)
3. Higher career td/int ratio
4. Higher career qb rating
5. Higher career yards per game.

Bit he still shouldn't have even came in that late. We would have done better with Lee IMHO
You do realize that our offensive production went up once JJ became the starter, right.

I could have sworn our offense sucked arse 2 of the final 5 games of the season. I guess Lee must have started those games

Yeah against 2 top defenses. I'm talking about the month of November. In November we had our highest yards per play of any month and that was again 2 top 3 teams. Arky bama.

We/he didn't do shite against Bama, Plus he didn't start... How many yards did we get against Bama???? Plus IN November LSU and JJ padded his stats against those powerhouses called Ole Miss and WKU.. And JJ embarrassed himself by getting a safety against WHU... Sad sad.............
