Are Cur's known to kill small animals?

Have a Cur/Lab mix, but she looks all cur.
She is a little over 4 months old.
I just found two dead snakes in about a 10 minute span.
One was floating in my washing machine, my assumption is that she did it, since I was washing her towels.
While I was throwing that one over a gate I found another one in pieces in the back yard.
Is this normal or is more likely the work of a cat?

Probably not a cat.
My parents labs kill snakes like its their job...and it is.

Even my little Yorkie will go after anything alive. Watched my Jack Russell take out about a 4 ft. Black Racer a few years ago and was surprised how quickly he dispatched that sucker. I lifted a soft grill cover that was laying on my porch, and the snake took off. I didn't even have time to react, because I would have just caught the snake. But he grabbed it instantly and shook it. It was dead in a matter of 3-4 seconds. The Jack Russell used to dig up some pretty big moles and kill them too.

Catahoula cur?
Ours killed all sorts of critters. From deer size down. Couldn't let them out together. But they could group up some cows as a team.
