My usage of "ethernet" refers to devices (such as a PC) hardwired via ethernet connection. Sorry if confusing.

I'm presently on a 75 Mbps plan. I actually attain speeds of 80 Mbps+ on two ethernet connected desktop PC's & 5G wireless on both late versions of Android & Apple devices. Wireless speeds on the 2.4G bands top out on the same devices in the mid-50's. Our older iPhone 4S and (2012) Nexus 7 will not break 30 Mbps on 2.4, their only option.

I have a Cisco e2000. I have a iPhone 6,iphone5s and a galaxy s3. Router supports 2.4 at 20mhz and 5.0 at 40 MHz. The router cig allows you to configure 20 & 40 MHz when set to 5ghz.
