Yea the days of "Class of 92" or what Barcelona did with mostly academy players in the late 00s/early 10s are over.

With FFP home grown reqs and the way clubs are investing in youth i think a good chance we will see big clubs with a good amount of academy grads contributing or even becoming super stars.

Could be, but they will still be buying the titles. There are only 3-5 teams in the European leagues that will ever win one. And yes, I mean ever.

I don't even think he trolls most of the time. He speaks his mind, and he's an easy quote, because he speaks well and can't keep his mouth shut. Most of his super controversial quotes are like this.

More or less it seems like he's saying, If you said Chelsea bought the title after Abramovich arrived, you have to say the same thing about these other teams who are spending huge now.

Since you are in this thread TN Bhoy, Celtic and Rangers have bought theirs as well because the other clubs in Scotland can't keep up from a monetary standpoint.

Did I say differently? All I said was that Jose's a hypocrite on this and other matters (notably diving).
And, it must be mentioned, Rangers died because they spent money they didn't have.
