He pulls it out of his pocket to show the camera with the comment "put this (indicating gun) on the Internet."
You clearly see the gun going IN the pocket a second before. I see no motions reaching into the pocjet prior, so I assume that is what it is referring to.
Trying to make something out of nothing due to an old video.
Which is sad, because there is a lot there to attack from them going out of line to make making shite up unneeded.
Newsflash: just because you get the charges dropped doesn't mean you aren't guilty. It just means the DA doesn't feel like he can prove guilt. What if the cop violated a procedural code during the arrest that makes the gun find inadmissible, such as putting it in his own pocket without formally documenting it.
You do realize in such a case they would have to drop the charge regardless if they found it loaded in his pocket?

Give it up. Cop pulled it from his own pocket at about 32.
And just as in your attorney scenario, they could have agreed to drop all charges, settle out of court with the stipulation that he not pursue the planting of the gun.
Some of you act as if officers never ever plant guns. There is a documented history of this kind of stuff in Philly. Don't you think just every once in a while it will be caught on film?
As far as the cop holding it up for the camera, no one has ever accused cops of being smart.
