ive been to a couple columbus crew games and it definitely feels like the bars are far as frick away. i might just be comparing that to athens which is unfair, but hey
The only other major stadiums that I've been to--The Big House and Camp Randall--seemed comparable as well; although those were each from a single experience years ago.

I've been super super spoiled because of Athens, where the bars are separated from campus by about 50 feet of concrete. I looked up the foreign sounding bar the guy mentioned earlier (can't recall the name and don't feel like opening separate window to look) and it's like 1 mile from the stadium. Problem is it's about a 1.5 mile walk from my stay to the stadium (a tad bit farther to the tailgate), then another mile and a half to the bar...after that no way I'm walking back home
