I worked 28/28 in Santa Fe Argentina for 32 months - flew business class on Aerolineas out of Miama and their attendants was smoking hot. Not so much American on to Houston.

Had to be
Domestic first is usually the senior(age and experience) crew.
The Asian airlines still hire on appearance and I applaud their decision to do so.
