Overrated does not mean "not good." Something can be excellent and still overrated.
Not only that, it's subjective and based upon expectations.
I can also see how a place/food/drink or whatever can be overrated to some and underrated for others.

To me the difference between The Bruery and Deschutes/Bells/OskarBlues is that The Bruery makes some AWFUL beers, has issues with contamination of clean beer, and is often overpriced.
Deschutes/Bells/OskarBlues have none of these problems. If you look at those three, most of their year round line up isn't very exciting. Even some of their seasonals that were once considered outstanding now look a little dated compared to current trends, but all of the beers I've had from these breweries were well crafted and enjoyable.
I've tutu'd multiple beers from The Bruery, never one from the other three.
