I'm not trying to say that the world is going to shite or whatever the popular narrative is. I'm saying there needs to be something better done about gun violence in this country, I don't know the answer, but there has to be something.

gun laws are for law abiding citizens not criminals. Murder is illegal but still happens.

I agree. I carry every day and think that good, law abiding citizens should have the right. But I also think that they should be trained.
That said, it will do nothing to stop violent people from doing violent things.
Honestly the only way to get rid of GUN violence is to remove GUNS.
But that won't happen.

The criminals obviously do not care what the laws are. The best way to stop this is for law abiding citizens to be trained and to shoot back.
