Heard Dave Cohen throw out a lil' stat regarding the average amount New Orleans residents spend more per year on repairs than other cities. Said it was around $700/yr.

I've lived in Lakeview for almost 10 years, have never had to repair my car because of the condition of the streets.

I once blacked out and totaled a few cars. Never would have happened if not for those narrow Garden District streets...and you meddling kids.

I don't know, but that cluster bomb of construction at the LA/MS 10/12 split has caused my car to overheat, a rock chip, and wasted 4 hours of my life

I lived in New Orleans for a month in 2013. The damn potholes around Fountainbleau and Napoleon knocked a piece loose on my engine and killed my Taurus. It ended up being junkyarded a couple weeks later.

Well after moving away from LA and visiting for Christmas one year I was rear ended by a Tundra on Causeway Blvd.
So that time about 8k.
Yeah I know, not NOLA but close enough.

Just got both of my front air ride struts replaced. $3806.03 in damage from a pothole that cracked them both on Robert E. Lee by the 17th Street canal

I have cracked a rim, would be about $500 if I replaced it, luckily my spare was full size, so I just got a donut spare.
Broke a hose connection on my engine of my truck, it overheated, that sucked. Luckily the little piece was only about $10 though.
so total = $510

I know someone that totaled a 2 year hold Hyundai going through a bad pothole that she didn't see at night.

I don't know shite about cars? I own two cars that other than oil changes and regular maintence haven't had to come out of pocket to pay for anything Lakeview road related.
Something tells me you don't know shite about my cars and area.

I had to replace a bumper when I hit a pot hole driving on Canal Street in between Robert E. Lee and Lakeshore Drive.
