I follow baseball stuff on here pretty close and never remember literally anyone claiming that.

no but I got bashed for stating that our pitching better be nothing short of spectacular next season because from the look of hitters we had in reserve this past sesaon I can't see more then a couple hitting over .300 next season.

Certainly possible, also certainly probable nobody knows what 8 new guys in the lineup will do which is much more the case. A good majority of the guys starting next year have taken either 0 or very few AB at this level so there's no telling what we'll see. What we do know is Mainieri has been pretty good going out getting solid JUCO talent recently and it's a JUCO heavy class with some really good hitters in it which it needed to be. He went out and got a handful of guys who crushed the ball around in JUCO last year which is exactly what we need as fillers for the young guys having to step into major roles now.

That is not why you got bashed. You said you doubted that we'd have any .300 hitters. This was your post

really doubt we have any .300 hitters next year, so pitching better be outstanding enough to keep the opposition under 3 runs.
