Boston #1.
Lakers #2, due to Minneapolis Mikan, and LA
Warriors, tie for #3 due to Philadelphia early successes Joe Fulks, Wilt, Dr J and SF Bay
Chicago, tie for #3 due to MJ with props to great team that lost in 7 games, including two OT losses to LA with Wilt, Jerry West and some other solid hall of famer. That Bulls team had Sloan and Chet Walker. West stole the ball in the open court from Norm Van Lier to bring LA back in game 7 to lead by 1 and Wilt blocked the next Chicago shot by Norm Van Lier in the lane with the game on the line.
