Outside of Dural and Dupre, its tough to predict how the rest of the WR depth chart shakes out and how much PT each guy will get.
Our 2 best WRs are Dural and Dupre. They will be the main 2, that much is clear. And with the spring Chark had and what all the coaches and other players are saying about him, hes got the inside track to the WR3 spot. When he comes in, Dupre would probably move inside to the slot. Its clear that they want to move Dupre all over the place and get a mismatch with him. And they really liked what they saw from him out of the slot during the spring.
That doesn't mean that guys like Quinn and Diarse won't see quality PT though. Because they all will. The good thing about our WR group is that they are versatile and bring diff things to the table. Dural and Chark and burners that can take the top off of any D and have elite speed. Dupre is a monster talent with elite size and jumping ability and is able to go up and make plays over DBs. Quinn and Diarse are inside WRs, but different skills. Quinn is that finesse slot WR that has very good quickness and speed and knows how to get open. Diarse is a physical WR that can go across the middle and out muscle guys and go get the ball.
And Tyron Johnson will see the field as well. Its only a matter of time before he emerges and becomes an impact player for us. Hes on a different level talent wise than all of our WRs not named Dupre and probably Dural. Hes that talented.
They all will see the field. Add in DeSean Smith ability to catch the ball as a TE and our elite running game, we should be very hard to matchup with and should be able to pick and choose where we want to attack.
But outside of Dural and Dupre, and for the most part Chark, its extremely hard to predict how much PT the rest see. It all depends on matchups and gameplans IMO. Some games, it will be just Dural and Dupre. Other games it will be Chark and Dural. Other games it will be Dupre and Quinn. Other games it will be Dural and Diarse. Etc, etc, etc.
They all better be ready when their # is called though. Because if they arent, there are 4+ guys that are just as talented breathing down their neck waiting for their opportunity.

Chavis' terrible 2 minute defense lost us that game

Quinn had trouble getting off the line and getting separation. (most of our young recievers had that problem as welL but he seemed to have MORE OF IT) In addition he wasn't very clutch. So it is really up to him and how he develops. Their is a lot of talent waiting in the wings.

If he catches 2-3 balls in the bama game he's a hero. He had Room to run after catch on at least two of those balls he dropped.
I still get pissed off when I think about that game.

Not much time at all if he has drops like he had last season.

Wow just threw JV under the bus like that eh!

Quinn was fine til the drops against bama. That was a hard pill to swallow. Hopefully he'll be in there . But we're not there every day to see if he's being beat out of a starting spot.

Johnson will be starting in the slot this season. The kid is too good not to be on the field. He tore up teams across the middle at Warren Easton

Elite Athleticism man. Like another poster said his talent level is up there with Dupre.

He needed that to pick his hunger back up! He will be fine. Kinda scared for him now that Coach Henry is gone. That was his trump card. But a smart OC will get him touches.

That Bama game was tough to watch with him dropping passes. After that game, he didn't see field much.
What was tough was both dropped balls were out in front of him and almost on the ground. Brandon Harris for QB.Jenning has showed poor judgement as his arrest attest to that fact.Harris and Quinn will be stars this year.Quinn is the fastest of the receivers. His star will shine this year.

uld have helped him develop into an NFL possession type receiver a la Welker, Amendola.
So what you're saying is that he is white? Gotcha.

How can you possibly disagree with this? Whether Jennings or Harris, the offense is going to be exactly like last year - as much due to excessive talent to run the ball as the lack of ability to pass. There may be two games in which he'll have 5 balls thrown to him.
Do you live in some alternate universe where things stay the same forever?
You are saying right now that with 100% certainty that two guys getting their first starts and playing time, won't improve at all????
Are you saying with 100% certainty that none of the WRs that finally have experience, won't improve on catching the ball, getting open, running the correct routes, beating jams, or fighting for the ball?
Are you saying with 100% certainty that we will again on pass for 275 times? I mean outside of 2011 and 2014, we have passed at least 300 times in 13 games in Miles's tenure.
We have way too many options to throw to and way too many returning starters on offense (7, and 8 with Jennings) to not be better passing the ball. LSU has NEVER had two straight years of poor QB play under Miles. You can go check that fact. It may have been game manager levels, but never poor play in consecutive years. I don't see that changing anytime soon.

No he didn't.
If he hangs on to the ball he'll help LSU win games wherever he is on the dept chart. People forget he was a freshman. I think he'll improve.

Not much unless he learns to catch the ball.
