My only complaint about Lou was he couldn't keep the middle of our backfield covered , LSU played well only to have easy middle long down field TD passes lose the game for us . the fact that our back field talent was very good ,only made things worse for him !

I don't remember his defenses being good in any way. We would drop 6-7 guys into coverage, yet people would still be wide open.

He was undermined with the from the start by an assistant who thought he should have gotten the DC job. Would have made it difficult for anyone to do their job.
