I'll admit I am an X-Men die-hard fan so I kind of judge the whole "Universe" in regards to them-
Aside from Cap 2, which I loved, I've enjoyed the past 2 xmen movies more than any of the Marvel films. It's funny how it's always DC vs Marvel, but Fox seems to be getting better with their properties. I can't wait to see what they do with Deadpool.

They are going for what's gonna put butts in the seat, but I'm about ready to give up on the MCU having any kind of cultural impact as far as having any kind odf meaningful advancing and complexing the "super-hero" meme- which they seem to have fully embraced.
I think Disney has a lot to do with this. I agree with OML that Whedon was probably forbidden from making Ultron truly evil like in the comics.

Yeah, especially since the final battle takes place in a completely made up city. I think that's bullshite. Ultron should have at least destroyed a major city like Rome, but I'm guessing Disney didn't like Ultron destroying any city, so they forced Whedon to make one up so no one would be offended.
