About 1960, (I know, I'm an OLE FART at 65), my Dad's youngest brother who happens to only be 9 years older than me, would have me and my younger brother over at My grandmother's house to listen to LSU games on the radio. Reception was not always good but the three of us would be laid out on the floor around that radio , listening. Unc had been to a game or 2 and would describe the atmosphere.
From earliest memory, I have been a Tiger fan as to us that was the state school and the BEST!, but those games and my uncle and that radio forged a lifelong love for LSU. Then in '69 when I went to my first game.....well, y'all know!
