Damn we kicked some arse today. Lewa is a monster.

Alaba got his first yellow card since 2011 today.

That's impressive for a defender.

In Pep's setups, it's all fluid...but I think Alaba, Martinez and Boa who have been mostly in the back has been tremendous thus far.
Javi was slow getting back on Aubameyang's goal but recovered nicely afterward.
Keep the pain train going after int'l break...

Mundo Deportivo reporting Pep has "agreed in principle" to come to City...you guys hearing anything?
I don't not want Pep...but I like Pellers.

That's like the 15th time that same thing has been reported, don't know the level of authenticity to be honest.

Yeah it does keep popping up. Just figured something may have come up on you guys' end.

I really would be lying if I said I had any idea. Rummenigge has come out and said he's hopeful Pep will sign a new deal to stay in Munich but that's the extent of what I know.

I hate the whole damn deal.
Pellers is two years in and hasn't had much success in Europe. Granted, we have had some tough draws but the fact remains.
That being said, he has had European success before so it isn't like he can't get it done.
Pep is certainly a top, if not the top manager in the game, but IDK how his style would translate to city.
I fricking hate it. I wish we would have landed him after Mancini and hire Pellers after he was done. I love Pellegrini's style.

One thing about Pep is that it will eventually turn out perfect. It's not going to be like the old Barcelona team. Bayern is playing nothing like those teams. Pep is a soccer genius. He would get Manchester City playing a style you never thought they could accomplish.

Götze out up to 3 months with thigh/groin injury....plenty of time to get fat again.
Squad can obviously weather this just fine, as long as this isn't the start of a deluge of injuries....can't have that happen again

Yeah, I saw the injury. Thought he pulled his groin but they said it was an adductor injury.
Robben and Ribery should be back soon

Seeing Arjen back out there is a welcome sight...I'm on delay, but he almost pulled a typical Robben goal (drifting left along the box from the right side with a curling left boot).
Oh....and now Javi subbing on as Lewa makes it 3?

Gonna miss Guardiola when he leaves but really looking forward to Ancelotti and what he does with the team.

He's will probably end up being a better fit than Pep...and it was important to grab him this offseason since he'd be elsewhere next year.
I'm even wondering if KHR truly offered Pep a 1-year deal at this point...
