Chris Paul gave his heart and soul to a broken, f'ed up franchise. Deserves big ups. It would not have been fair for him to stay through the 3 year rebuild they did with AD. CP3, as a top 5 guy when he left, deserved better than NOLA's dysfunction.

David West, while clutch as anybody (I'll defend that point to the death), is a fake tough guy/punk. He bailed on NOLA when we needed him most and hid behind the veil of "wanting to win" (which he didn't) and "needing a change of scenery" (he just proved how much "home" matters to him) Futher, his stupid knee injury submarined the Hornets last good playoff run before it even started. He's the singular reason Chris Paul hasn't been in a Conference Final. If he plays in that Lakers series, the Hornets run away with it.

The difference between the two is that CP3 is an all time great PG. Top 10 material. David West is a Top 200 PF. He was always too blue collar. Its the difference between a smokeshow dumping you (CP3) and a normal chick that became hotter and all around better after you took a chance on her dumping you (West). On some level, you always expected the smoke to leave, but the chick you made? Never. That's why I hate David West.

Why I still like Austin Rivers? He gets a lot of shite. I just want him to prove the haters wrong. Plus I believe in that wicked crossover. He's absolutely terrible though. It's irrational.
