But, good old Bama was not exactly surprised at the JJ outside runs that time. Frankly, the fact that Miles even THOUGHT that shite was going to work twice is mind boggling. But hey. OK. He thought it.

The only scheme to put up offense against bama was the option.

After a half, he fricking KNEW he was wrong. And gave up
I wouldn't go that far. The score was 12-0 until the last 20 seconds of the 3rd quarter

Except to really call JJ an option QB in the vein of the offenses you are referring to is sort of an insult. But, OK. He thought it would work.

It pretty fricking clearly did NOT..........and he did NOTHING.

OK. So, everyone accepts this premise that no f'n way JL ever recovers in the November game, but a guy who couldn't get past the 50 yard line and whose ONE frickING PLAY HE WAS USEFUL at wasn't working might have recovered on 1-9.

Look. I recognize that even though I disagree with arguments in favor of JJ starting, the reality is, it isn't as if JL was Peyton Manning in the wings.

But damn, to spend the entire 2nd half not trying was just fricking indefensible and leaving in JJ for the 2nd half was absolutely NOT trying. Miles threw in the towel that day. It was mind-boggling.
