Yeah I stayed at the Mondrian last year on Sunset and had a fricking blast. Had to get over the amazing level of douche at the clubs/bars, but the hotel, food, and bars were awesome and all super nice.
Was walking around shitfaced and definitely didn't feel like I was in any danger of getting my head blown off.
