I agree with this.

All right, well done the lads. It IS a big deal to finish ahead of Spurs, and I relish how frustrating their getting drummed by a relegated squad must be for them.

Congrats to Giroud on the hat trick. However, even before Welbz's injury, I thought a top striker should be a top priority. I'm tired of "striker by committee" with guys who just aren't quite good enough to win trophies.

Crazy year. If you told me we would be runners-up, I would have been disappointed, but not shocked. However, if you told me we would finish second to the foxes, then yes, I would have been surprised.

I hope we make some signings that get the fans excited.

I guess though, as far as CF, once again, Arsene (whom I'm sure will be back) will look at Welbeck returning as a "big midseason signing."

The Arsenal brand is still one of the very strongest in the world. Here's hoping we replace Rosicky, Arteta, Debuchy, and a couple others with players that make us serious CL contenders.

Despite us finishing above City and Chelsea having a disastrous year, annually they seem to be able to go toe-to-toe with the Barcas and Bayerns of the world, while we have a "little engine that could" mentality on the pitch and in the front office.

And please, no unpleasant surprises with Ozil or Sanchez this summer.
