We all buy what we like, and I'm not sold that I need 450 hp in a car. I'd rather a 250 hp car on a super solid chassis with quality components. I want it to last, and I want the style to be palatable for many years. The edgy sports inspired stuff looks great when it's new, but that appeal never seems to age well, to me. I'm just one old shmuck though.

If I can afford better performance, I'm certainly going to buy it. The style will still be palatable - especially with the German cars. Minor aero and rims are really the only things that set the trims apart aesthetically. Plus the resale on an AMG, M, or S car will always be better than their lower trim counterparts...but to each their own. The only car I can think of where that thinking may be valid is with the new Jaguar F Type where the V6 models generally get more praise for overall balance vs. the V8 models.

Been with them for 15 years and may keep buying German till I'm done.

Last 4 have been Audi, Audi, Audi, Mercedes (current).

Kinda want to try a BMW next but everytime I compare to Audi I find I like Audi design better and it is less expensive.
