The bump was because he was forcing his way past people at the bar.

Yes, she hit him first, but she is not a real threat to a large male athlete. It doesn't matter who hit first, he should be kicked off the team for hitting a woman. I can't believe people in this thread are defending him for this.

Unless a woman has a weapon and there is absolutely nothing else you can do for your safety, then I guess it's ok to do whatever is necessary for your safety. That is not the case here.

Or it's just called walking up to a crowded bar. It is no reason for that girl to get her panties in a bunch.

1) He isn't that big. 2) That doesn't give her any excuse to initiate the physicality.
