What is surreal is the pic that he posted around 5:45 yesterday afternoon .. was probably minutes before this happened .. Looks like a sweet little boy .. impressed with all the donations family and friends have made toward funeral expenses .. I recognize a number of names on the donation list .. all are just wonderful people, IRL .. people can knock and make fun of LP all they want .. but that community comes together impressively in the face of tragedies like this .. they really do ..

Yeah social media can actually be a great thing in raising money for stuff like that. I have nothing against people starting gofundme accts for stuff like that. But if you were the one involved directly.....just maybe not a good idea to post on your fb at all. Lay low and reach out to friends/family privately.
I have family in LP so not surprised that people are quick to help. That's just how they are out there. We make fun of them for other reasons.....but you can't deny they will come together quick in times of need.
