All this stuff about bridge schedules, having to play Florida every year, LSU taking Bama's place on Georgia's schedule, PP7 was inbounds, this or that was a bullshite call - it's all what losers say to explain their losing. Bama has simply been better. Any fool can see that.

If you listen to Ole Miss or Miss State fans talk about LSU over the years you'll hear the same litany of referrees cheating, clocks running (or not running),etc.

I'm not saying some of this isn't legit, it's just very unbecoming and a little embarrassing.

Yep. It's certainly been a torrent of excuses on this thread.

If you think not playing UGA since 2008 and USC since 2010 doesnt help bama have better records, then you're delusional. Like I said, bama hasn't played the 1st,2nd or 3rd place east finisher in 5 seasons while their two main west opponents play them every year.

I'm extremely tired of hearing our fans talk about Bama but this is a pretty bad comparison. I'm pretty sure every Bama vs LSU game in the last 6 years except for one has been decided by less than a touchdown and a lot of the time it's in the last few minutes of the game. When a series is that tight and competitive you don't have much room for ole bug eyes Tom Ritter to randomly decide to throw a flag and give Bama a mulligan with 2 minutes left while they're down by 3 points and on the 50 yard line. It'd be one thing if they were kicking our asses like we always did to Moo State and Ole Miss but, in several games, the flags really have partially decided the outcome of extremely hard fought games and that's not debatable IMO

It's all "legit" and it all adds up. I understand that you line up and play who you have to play and if you get beat, you get beat. But right now, we are not playing anyone and this is the time to discuss things of this type as opposed to in Sept. At that time it would be unbecoming, but not when we aren't playing football. imo

Having the SEC home office change the football scheduling at the 11th hr. in a way that distinctly favors one SECW team over the other SECW teams, particularly LSU, was the real embarrassment. Even if there was no intent, it smelled like a spoiled chicken.
