You couldn't be more wrong. Nothing is bigger than our military and absolutely nothing takes priority over honoring veterans.

People think that just because it's Christmas or Easter or whatever that they don't have to thank veterans. Newsflash, no veterans means no Christmas. Show some respect.

yeah, no.... Christmas does still occur outside the US... and even in muslim dominated countries, Christmas is still celebrated, so yeah....

I don't have a problem with honoring veterans anytime. Just think they should have included the fact that it is the day we celebrate the creation of the United States as well.
