I fully admit to being a novice in the finer points of basketball but is Wade considered a classic "shooting guard". I always thought his game was more like a small forward. He's not really much of a shooter and his ability to score has generally come from his amazing ability to attack the basket due to his strength/athleticism. You would never try to use a screen to set him up for an open jumper. I guess it all comes down to how you define a position. I always thought alot of the specific position designations were used for novice fans like myself.

i generally define it by who you are on the floor with, and your size.

He is about 6'3"- 6'4" to begin with. There arent many, if any, SF's in the NBA at this size.

early in his career played along side guys like James Posey, ricky davis, and dorrell wright, and then of course later with Lebron.

this past year with luol deng.
