She's a bit thick but that isn't such a knock. That Alex gal is a beast.
I just don't get the direction but I'm guessing I'm the minority. I'm not the demo they are looking for but for gods sake it is called the Food Network.

FN is basically shows about eating and goofy cooking competitions. Chopped is good, and I'm not gonna lie, I love DDD.
Cooking channel is the more instructional of the two, but they don't have nearly the cooking talent that FN had in it's earlier years. It's basically aimed at people that are novice home cooks. Cooking Channel has all the Good Eats episodes at least.
